FeatureLine Edit

Tools to modify FeatureLines specific capabilities including elevation points.

Keyboard Command: FeaEdtCmd

Import: Imports all FeatureLines defined in the selected .FEF (FeatureLine Export File) file.
Elevation:
- Add:
  - Arcs: Prompts for a selection set of FeatureLines, then a distance interval. Adds elevation points along the curves of the FeatureLine at the specified interval.
    - Angle: The interval is decimal degrees and the points will be added at the angle interval.
    - Distance: The interval is the distance along the arc added at the distance.
    - Ordinate: The interval is based on the middle ordinate specified (the distance between an imaginary line between points) do not exceed this value.
  - Crossing: Prompts for a selection set of FeatureLines. Automatically determines objects crossing each FeatureLine and adds elevation points at all intersections.
  - Increment: Prompts for a selection set of FeatureLines, then a distance interval. Adds elevation points all along the entire FeatureLine (straight and curved segments).
  - Offset: Prompts for a single source FeatureLine and offset distance, then a selection set of target FeatureLines. Elevation points that exist along the source FeatureLine are offset where it intersects the target FeatureLines. Any segments on the target FeatureLines that do not lie within the specified distance are not affected.
  - Surface: Prompts for a selection set of FeatureLines, then a distance interval a surface pick. All existing elevations of the FeatureLines are ignored instead the vertices are assigned the elevation from the surface.
- Compare: Prompts for a selection set of FeatureLines, then a picked surface. For each point along a FeatureLine it compares the elevation to the elevation on the surface. If the elevation varies a temporary label is placed showing the variance. Use the GRCLEAR command to remove all temporary labels.
- Remove: Removes elevation points along all vertices of the selected FeatureLines.
Export: Prompts for a .FEF (FeatureLine Export File) file and a selection set of FeatureLines, then exports the information to the file.
