Figure Densify

The Densify command works on various linear object types. It is used to place additional points along the path of the figure, therefore densifying its data. Often used to add weight and control to geometry used in generating digital terrain models.

Keyboard Command: FigVtxDen

Procedure:

1. Issue the Figure Densify command.
2. Select figures to process, see note below regarding polylines containing arc segments.
3. Specify the desired distance between newly created points.

Note: This tool will not generate accurate results if applied to polylines that contain arc segments.
