Image GeoReferenced Insert

Places geotagged photos in plan view at projected coordinates with leaders.

Keyboard Command: ImgGeoIns

After executing this command, you will prompted to select the images to process and to specify a scale.

• Specify Scale: Enter the desired image scale. Values of 2.0 to 10.0 usually work well.
• Simplify Names: When using multiple files with long names, the resulting process causes some CAD engines to show dialogs about images erased and eventually stop working with an error dialog. In our testing simplifying the names allows the process to complete without errors.

Notes:

• To reposition images without affecting the arrow point (photo location) select the leader object, then make the middle grip on the horizontal segment hot and drag the image to the desired location.
