Places and manages (add, check, edit, find, renumber) curve table tags as well as placing the table in the drawing.
Keyboard Command: LabCrvTbl
- Add: Adds a new curve table tag to a curved object. After selecting a curved object, confirm the tag number to use.
- Check: Audits the curve table tags in the drawings, checking for duplicates.
- Edit: Select a curve table tag to change it's number value.
- Find: Finds a curve table tag based on it's number, zooming it to the center and marking it.
- Renumber: Renumbers a selection set of curve table tags based on a specified starting number.
- Place: Places a curve table in the drawing. If tags are modified you can update the table with the Update Linked Objects command.
Notes:
- When a tag block is placed on a polyline, maintain the insertion point of the tag block at a point along the polyline segment it was placed on.
- Tag blocks contain extended information that tells the object handle it was placed on. This means you cannot simply move/copy them to another location on a different object, you must use the Add tool to place a new tag on the other object(s).
- When a tag block is placed on a polyline, it's (nearest osnap) coordinate position is used to obtain the polyline segment references. This means you can move a tag along the segment to accommodate other objects, but don't move it onto another segment (unless that is the intention). Don't move curve tags onto straight segments and vice-versa.
- When a tag is placed on an arc object, the tag block insertion point does not have to reside on the object.
