Point Add Centroid

Places a cogo point at the centroid of nearly all linear objects. There are several centroid options available.

Keyboard Command: PntAddCen

• Average: The average of the coordinate points along the figure.
• Extents: The mid-point of the figures extents.
• Inside: Sometimes referred to as false centroids, but will fall inside the boundary even on C shaped figures.
• Median: The median of the coordinate points along the figure.
• Standard: A weighted average method involving the area.
