Point Cogo Block

Create inserts using mapping of point UDP to attributes.

Keyboard Command: PntCogBlk

Procedure:

1. Open the drawing containing the points to convert.
2. Build a block definition containing the geometry and attributes needed.
3. Start this tool (from the menu, ribbon or command above).
4. Choose the point group from the drop down.
5. Choose the block name from the drop down.
6. Complete any attribute mapping not auto detected.
7. Optionally change the layer, scale and/or rotation.

Notes:

• Using the same attribute tag names as the properties (including user defined) will make processing faster as the tool will auto map the property to the attribute when executed.
• The CogoPoint objects are not removed from the drawing, you would need to do that manually if desired.
