Point Draw Linear

This tool draws linear objects by point number quick entry. It can draw arcs, lines or multipoint figures such as multilines, polylines, or splines.

Keyboard Command: PntDrwLin

• Arc: Prompts for three points along a curve (begin, middle, and end).
• Line: Prompts for two points to form a line object (begin, end).
• Other: Prompts for a starting point, then continuously prompts for a point number.
  • To end an open figure, simply press enter when prompted for the next point.
  • To close to the point of beginning, enter the beginning point number to close then press enter to end.

  Notes:

  • When a figure is drawn closed, it will create a figure with the closed flag set and the beginning point will not be duplicated.
  • The object drawn will normally be 3D if the point elevations vary. If the OSNAPZ variable is set to 1, a 2D object will be drawn at the current ELEVATION value.
