This tool is used to change the elevations of a selection set of points by various methods.
Keyboard Command: PntEdtElv
- Absolute: Prompts for a new elevation and sets the points to that value.
- Objects: Attempts to snap to a nearby object and obtains the elevation from that point. Use the CAD engines OSNAP settings beforehand.
- Relative: Changes the elevations relative to a referenced point. You will pick the point, then choose one of the following for a value.
- Grade: Percent Grade as in 10%
- Ratio: Ratio To One, as in 2:1.
- Slope: Degree of Slope, as in 10°.
- Vertical: Relative value added to referenced points elevation. Enter a negative value for lower.
- Surface: Determines the elevation from a designated surface. Enter the number corresponding to the surface in the list.
- Vertical: Prompts for an offset value and sets the elevations relative to the existing elevation. Use a positive value to raise or a negative value to lower.
