Point Edit Elevations

This tool is used to change the elevations of a selection set of points by various methods.

Keyboard Command: PntEdtElv

• Absolute: Prompts for a new elevation and sets the points to that value.
• Objects: Attempts to snap to a nearby object and obtains the elevation from that point. Use the CAD engines OSNAP settings beforehand.
• Relative: Changes the elevations relative to a referenced point. You will pick the point, then choose one of the following for a value.
  • Grade: Percent Grade as in 10%
  • Ratio: Ratio To One, as in 2:1.
  • Slope: Degree of Slope, as in 10°.
  • Vertical: Relative value added to referenced points elevation. Enter a negative value for lower.
• Surface: Determines the elevation from a designated surface. Enter the number corresponding to the surface in the list.
• Vertical: Prompts for an offset value and sets the elevations relative to the existing elevation. Use a positive value to raise or a negative value to lower.
