Moves points based on snaps of other geometry, including perpendicular to designated linear segments and section sample lines.
Keyboard Command: PntEdtSnp
- Line: Moves points perpendicular to designated linear segments of a selected object.
- Osnap: Moves points that have a position on or very near existing geometry to the designated snap. In other words if a point is near the end of a line and the endpoint snap is used, the point will then be positioned exactly at the endpoint (including the Z if turned on). Uses the currently running OSNAP settings.
- Samples: Moves points perpendicular to designated sample lines of a section series. You will be prompted to pick the alignment and if there is more than one sample series, the need to choose one. Then a prompt for distance tolerance ignores points that are farther from the sample line.
