Point Group Commands

Places a cogo point at the centroid of nearly all linear objects. There are several centroid options available.

Keyboard Command: PntGrpCmd

• Highlight: Highlights and builds a reusable selection set of points contained in matching point groups.
• Numbers: Lists each point group defined along with the point number ranges assigned to the point group.
• Purge: Removes point groups based on a name mask. Enter a specific name like "TREES" or a wildcard name like "TREES*".
• Surface: Creates points groups from the selected surfaces name with "-ABOVE", "-BELOW", and "-EQUAL". The selected points are added to the appropriate group depending on whether its elevation is above, below, or equal to the surface elevation at that X/Y location.
