Used to inverse between points, while reporting numerous details about the relationship between them.
Keyboard Command: PntInqInv
- Arc: Prompts for a hub point followed by prompts for first and second point to define the arc (pick these points in clockwise order). Returns nearly two dozen parameters relative to the curve defined by the points.
- Normal: Repeatedly prompts for a first and second point and echoes these coordinates and the relationship between them. Press ESC at any time to exit the tool.
- Radial: Prompts for a hub point followed by a selection of any number of points. Returns the hub coordinates and the relationship to all points selected.
- Sequential: Prompts for a first point then repeatedly prompts for a next point. With each next point provided the coordinates and relationship is echoed. At the end the total distance inversed is reported.
Procedure:
- Open the drawing/project containing the points.
- Initiate the tool.
- Choose the inverse method desired (see below).
- Repeat inverses until complete.
