Annotate grade, slope, or ratio of selected profile slopes along with station and/or elevation of vertices.
Keyboard Command: ProLabSlp
Procedure:
- Execute the Slope Label tool from the ribbon, menu, or command above.
- Pick the Profile (or section) block to process.
- Pick the Polyline (contained in the block) to label.
- Designate to label slopes, vertices or change templates.
- For vertices and slopes, pick the starting and ending vertices, all points/segments between will be labeled.
- Repeat the command as needed for other labels.
Notes:
- MapWorks Profiles are bound as blocks, the block/reference editing mode is perfect for manual editing. To begin editing you should be able to simply double pick the profile in the drawing. Alternatively you can use these commands.
- On AutoCAD:
- BEDIT command and pick the profile (or section) to begin editing.
- BCLOSE command to save changes to the profile/section.
- On BricsCAD/IntelliCAD:
- REFEDIT command and pick the profile (or section) to begin editing.
- REFCLOSE command to save changes to the profile/section.
- On AutoCAD:
- The current value of the TEXTSIZE variable controls the text height.
- Note that manual edits of profiles and sections are lost if they are reprocessed.
