Creates dynamically updated point UDP (user defined properties) on CogoPoints showing alternative coordinate values (northing, easting, elevation).

Keyboard Command: PrjAltUdp

Procedure:

  1. Open the drawing containing the points to process.
  2. Initiate this tool from the menu, ribbon or command above.
  3. Enter the name(s) of the alternate coordinate system to assign. For more than one system, separate the values with a comma.
  4. Choose a point selection method (such as drawing) and select CogoPoints to process.

At this point the UDP has been assigned to the CogoPoints, you can review the information in the PROPS dialog (bottom) by clicking one point. While you can change the northing, easting and elevation, it's not recommended. There is a dedicated update linked objects tool on the menu.
