Surface Delete Points

Deletes multiple points from a selected surface based on rules such as relative position. You will be prompted for an optional boundary object to limit the processing. To process the entire surface, simply press Enter to skip the boundary option.

Keyboard Command: SurDelPts

• Contour: Prompts for interval and tolerance value. It then evaluates all points and removes those that are not close enough to the contour interval. To retain more surface points, use a small contour interval (0.1).
• Offsets: Prompts for selection of linear figures, left and right offsets along the figure paths. It then deletes all points that lie within that corridor.
• Relative: Prompts for horizontal and vertical tolerances along with which point to retain (high/low). It then compares all the points and deletes those that qualify.
