Surface Offset CAD

Creates an offset surface from an existing TinSurface using the CAD engine's SurfOffset (if available).

Keyboard Command: SurOfsCad

Procedure:

1. Open the drawing containing the surface.
2. Initiate the command from the menu, ribbon or command.
3. Select the TinSurface in the drawing.

Notes:

• It is important to note that this tool relies on the CAD engine's ability to offset a standard CAD surface. In our tests, small (design) to moderate sized surfaces (with limited triangles) may succeed. However, larger TinSurfaces will likely fail as the triangle count and complexity grows.
