Spot Annotation

Draws spot annotations such as spot elevations, slope arrows, etc. Includes the ability to use separate colors for positive/negative values on difference grids.

Keyboard Command: SurSptAnn

Procedure:

1. Choose the type of object to generate at the top.
2. Choose the method to designate points. If using the Grid method, confirm the interval values before choosing the Pick button.
3. Choose the desired surface on the popdown list.
4. Designate additional options as desired.
5. Choose OK to create the grid file.

Notes:

• Spot Elevations support a three way coloring scenario for positive, negative and zero values. This is useful when labeling difference grids. The default is 256 (ByLayer) for all cases. If desired you can change the color to use for Positive and Negative cases, such as green (3) for positive and red (1) for negative.
