Draw Font Border

Tools to add, change and remove border (polylines) to Mtext objects that use truetype fonts.

Keyboard Command: DrwFntBrd

• Add: Adds border information to a selection set of Mtext objects.
• Change: Changes the border thickness and colors for a selection set.
• Remove: Removes the border and information from a selection set.
• Update: Updates the borders on a selection set if they become unsynchronized.

Notes:

• This tool creates an anonymous group to contain the Mtext and its borders. This allows ease of moving and related operations as a single unit.
• The results are a bound collection of the Mtext object and multiple polylines. This native geometry should display (and plot) properly on any DWG compatible system.
• As a member of the group, most Mtext editing operations should still work, especially those selected with window, etc.
• The CAD PickStyle system controls whether the objects are selected as a group. This tool echoes a notice on ending if the variable is turned off.
