General Rotate Drawing

Rotates all modelspace geometry based on two specified directions. Each direction (source/target) can be specified using numerous options such as Azimuth, Bearing, Two Points, etc.

Keyboard Command: GenRotDwg

Procedure:

1. Open the drawing containing objects to be rotated.
2. Initiate this tool from the menu, ribbon or command above.
3. Designate the source rotation angle.
4. Designate the target rotation angle.
5. Optionally pick a rotation point.

Notes:

• Objects on locked layers are skipped and there will be an alert if this occurred.
