Solid Convex Hull

Processes a selection set of points to form 3dSolids and/or Meshes.

Keyboard Command: SolConHul

Procedure:

1. Open the drawing containing the points to triangulate.
2. Issue the command from the menu, ribbon or command above.
3. Select the point objects in the drawing.
4. Wait for the tool to build the results.

Notes:

• This tool will attempt to create 3dSolids from the mesh of triangles. It relies on the CAD engine to form the 3dSolid from the mesh. Sometimes the CAD engine will consider the mesh too complex to form the solid and the results will be the intermediate mesh object.
