Attribute Explode will explode the attribute values of an entire selection set of blocks. Unlike AutoCAD, it will maintain the value contained, as well as the text style, color, angle, etc. You control whether the newly created text object will go into the layer the attribute was originally defined on, the layer that the block was inserted into, or the current layer.
Keyboard Command: BlkAttExp

You can also choose from the following choices:
- Keep: Keeps the attributes intact, having no affect on the original block.
- Empty: Blanks out the attribute values but keeps the slot open for future use.
- Remove: Reinsert block after exploding with no attribute tags.
Notes:
- There is a toggle to attach 'recall' tags. If you choose yes to this option, the newly created text will remember which attribute it came from and can be recalled with ToolPac's Attribute Recall function.
Note: Using object floating on the block between explode and recall time will disable this ability as the referenced handle will have changed.
- If you turn off the toggle for Process Invisible Attributes, it will not create a text object for invisible attributes.
- If you wish to erase the parent block insert after the attributes are exploded, turn off the Retain Parent Block toggle.
