Attribute Value Replace

Attribute Replace will search block attributes in a selection set, find a whole or partial match in the field, and replace that value if found.

Keyboard Command: BlkAttRep

After choosing this function, you will be prompted first to select blocks to process. This determines the potential attribute fields. When the dialog appears, select only those attributes that you wish to process. Then enter the search and replacement strings. If you wish to find those that match the whole search string only, turn on the bottom toggle.

To fill in only attributes that are blank, leave the find field empty and specify a replacement value. To fill in attributes regardless of their present contents, turn on the Replace All Values toggle.
