This tool allows you to insert an information block into your drawing containing attributes of the drawings path, filename, along with the current date & time. The block attributes contain AutoCAD FIELDS which will automatically update.
Keyboard Command: BlkPltStm
The entities in the INFOBLOK.DWG symbol are drawn as:
- Layer = 0
- Color = ByLayer
- Linetype = ByLayer
Therefore, they will take on the properties of the layer that they are inserted into. If the appearance of the infoblok symbol is not desirable, you may explode the block and use the component attributes in the design of your own title block or legend.
