Block Modify Replace

Block Replace will replace a selection set of blocks with a new block. Each insert in the selection set will maintain its location, scale, and rotation, but is replaced by the new block.

Keyboard Command: BlkRepIns

Upon issuing the command, the first options are used to select the blocks to process.

Procedure:

1. Initiate this command from the menu, ribbon, or command above.
2. Designate Find Specifications by one of these methods.
   • Entering B to select a block type, then picking an INSERT object.
   • Choosing D for a dialog list of blocks.
   • Pressing Enter to select inserts of any type to process.
3. Designate Replace Specifications by one of these methods.
   • Entering D for a dialog list of blocks to choose from.
   • Pick a single insert for replacement.
