ToolPac's Draw by Example function is an entirely new way to issue commands to AutoCAD. Instead of setting the correct layer, linetype, etc, then typing in a command or choosing it from a menu, you simply point to an existing object on the screen and ToolPac will issue the appropriate command with the default parameters (layer, color, linetype, elevation, and thickness) equal to those of the object picked.
Keyboard Command: DrwLikExa
- Dimensions: Automatically set the dimension style to match the object, then execute the correct dimension subcommand (ver/hor/ali/etc).
- Blocks: Initiate the insert command with the correct block name already assigned.
- Text: Set the default style and size, the same as the text picked.
