Draw Label Elevation

This function helps you label the elevation values of objects in your drawing. This tool has several options as explained below.

Keyboard Command: DrwLabElv

Procedure:

1. Choose Label Elevation from the Draw/Label flyout.
2. Enter the number of decimal place to round the value to.
3. Designate whether to automatically trim objects around the label when it is placed. If yes is chosen, you will be able to specify the distances around the text for the cutting edge rectangle.
4. Pick the object to label at the point where you would like the text middle justified.
5. Drag the cursor in the rotation direction that you would like the text to be. The text is displayed as it will be placed when picked.
6. Repeat as many times as desired. Press enter to end the routine.
