Draw Points Along Object

Draws points/inserts along objects at specified random distances. This routine provides the flexibility of generating points at any interval along the object.

Keyboard Command: DrwPntDis

The routine begins by prompting you for the linear object to label, then presents a selection dialog with the marker options. This list includes all blocks defined in the drawing. Using a block definition with a dot attribute can have significant advantages. If the tag name of the attributes are .INSDIST, .INSPTX, .INSPTY, or .INSPTZ, the routine will optionally fill these in with the value of the insert.

In the event that a 3Dpolyline is chosen, you will be prompted to use Horizontal or Slope distances.
