Quick recall and reporting of drawing open/close activity. When this tool is loaded and a drawing is closed, a record of the drawing is recorded in the database. This information can be used in two principal ways. First is a quick open dialog allowing easy access to previously opened drawings. The second is a detailed list to simplify time usage.

Date Range Control:
The initial list reflects all the possible dates. You can enter or pick a new beginning and ending date, or choose one of the ranges using the pulldown list at the top. This list allows you to quickly set the range to all, files accessed last week, this week, this month, or last month. Once the desired date range is set, choose the adjacent button to update the lists.
Toolbar Buttons:
- Details: Displays a dialog showing the preview and drawing properties of the currently selected record.
- Preview: Controls the display of the thumbnail preview at the bottom.
- Copy: Copies the detailed history data list to the clipboard.
- Print: Prints the detailed history data list.
- Excel: Exports the detailed history list to MS Excel.
- Word: Exports the detailed history list to MS Word.
Notes:
- Single click on an item in the list preview a recently used file.
- Double click to open (or activate) a recently used file.
- The data is stored in a file named DWGHIST.XML in the ToolPac\Data folder. If this file is deleted it will automatically be recreated.
- The program writes updates to the file only on closing of AutoCAD.
