Drawing Layer Rename +

Optionally rename layers in multiple drawings, also set options such as toggles, color, linetype.

Keyboard Command: DwgLayRen

Procedure:

1. Use the file selection options to select the files that you wish to process.
2. Choose the Add button to add a new record.
3. Click the first cell (the Old Name field) to indicate an old layer name.
4. Optionally enter a new name for the layer.
5. Optionally specify additional fields to change, leave blank for no changes.
6. Repeat beginning at step 2 until the list is complete.
7. Choose the Start Process button to begin.

Notes:

• In either the Old Name or New Name fields, you can choose the Select button to choose a name from the layer names found in the drawings.

  Note: There will be a noticeable delay the first time this is chosen.

• For the On, Freeze, Lock, or Plot fields, enter Y (yes), N (no), or leave it blank for no change.
