Hatch Buffer Offset

Draws a buffer hatch by picking an interior point. First specify the offset distance, then the desired pattern parameters. If the SOLID pattern is chosen you will not be prompted for scale and angle. You can then repeatedly pick points inside closed area and generate a buffer offset with each pick.

Keyboard Command: HatBufOfs

Procedure:

• Specify the offset distance.
• Select the hatch pattern parameters.
• Repeatedly pick a point inside the boundary(s).

Notes:

• The offset distance is the distance from the boundard toward the inside, or width of the buffer.
