Set current properties such as color, linetype and more from picked object.
Keyboard Command: GenSetCur
- Color: Using ToolPac's set color option allows you to select the current draw color via the color selection dialog box, without having to go through the DDEMODES dialog to get to it. Choose or type in a color, then press the OK button.
- Linetype: To quickly set the current linetype, use the set linetype option. The program will display a single-item selection dialog box, allowing you to choose a linetype by name. Choose the linetype desired and press the OK button.
- Layer: Setting the current layer is often a repeated procedure. Use the set layer option to display a single-item selection dialog box, allowing you to choose the desired layer by name. Choose the layer, then press the OK button. The layer will remain current until it is changed. Note that there are several other ways to set the current layer.
- Style: To set the current text style, use the set style option. It will display a single-item selection dialog box, allowing you to choose a style by name. Choose the text style desired and press the OK button. The chosen style will remain current until it is changed.
- Elevation: New objects, except for 3D objects, are created on the elevation designated as current. Use the set elevation option to set this value. The program will display the current value in angled brackets and prompt you for a new value. If the value shown in the angled brackets is acceptable, simply press enter, or type in a new value.
- Thickness: New objects are created on the thickness designated as current. Use the set thickness option to set this value. The program will display the current value in angled brackets and prompt you for a new value.
- Fillet Radius: This will prompt you to select an existing arc or circle in your drawing. Once chosen, the current AutoCAD (FILLETRAD) fillet radius will default to this value.
- Text Height: This will set the current text height (TEXTSIZE) to the value of selected existing text.
- Snap Angle: This routine will allow you to set the current snap angle by picking on an existing line or polyline segment.
