Path Close Options

Closes a selection set of figures by standard close or building close (adding the back corner). The coordinates for the added back corner are determined by turning 90° angles off the beginning and ending points to determine the intersection point. The closed flag is then set for the Figure.

Notes:

• The figure can be 2D or 3D. If the figure is 3D, the added point will have an elevation of 0.0.
• In the case of buildings where all points where shot, the tool simply sets the close flag without adding an unnecessary extra point. It makes this determination when the point to be added falls in-line from the previous end point to the beginning point, varying less than 1 degree.
