Polyline Join Segments

The Join Segments routine can join hundreds of polyline segments, lines, and arcs together to form a collection of open or closed polylines. The endpoints do not have to match exactly, as long as the distance between the endpoints is less than the designated maximum separation.

Keyboard Command: PlnSegJoi

Procedure:

1. Issue the Join Segments command from the polyline flyout.
2. Select lines, arc, and polylines (2D/3D/LW) to process.
3. Specify the maximum separation to join. If the horizontal distance between two endpoints exceeds this number, the segments will not be joined. Do not specify a value too large, or endpoints may be joined that logically should not have been joined.
4. Choose a connection method from the list of choices.
