The Dialog Edit function is used to edit the vertices of existing 2D or 3D polyline in a dialog box. This provides the ability to scroll through the entire polyline, highlight and make changes to selected vertices.
Keyboard Command: PlnEdtDia
- New: Click this pulldown to clear the dialog for entry of a new 2D/3D polyline.
- Open: Used to select a polyline in the drawing you wish to edit.
- Save: Saves changes to the polyline in the drawing.
- Pick: Picks coordinates in the drawing (select the desired vertex first).
- Show: Shows the location of the current records coordinates.
- Delete: Deletes the current record (vertex).
- Insert: Inserts a new record (vertex) at the current position.
- Add: Adds a new record (vertex) at the end of the data.

Notes:
- If a 2D polyline is active, the elevation of the polyline can be set in the upper right. If a 3D polyline is active, this will grayed out.
- If a 3D polyline is active, there will not be fields for widths and arc bulges, but will include a field for the elevation of each vertex.
