Extracts (copies) selected geometry from an xref to the current drawing. Nearly all AutoCAD geometry types are supported. As a side effect of being xref dependent, block inserts and dimensions cannot be extracted. However lines, arc, text, polylines, mlines, circles, and even mtext and images can be extracted. The routine strips the xref name from the objects layer and creates all dependent symbols automatically.
