SurvPC Esri by Carlson Software provides a seamless workflow for GIS field mapping with survey grade accuracy. Through a strong land surveying background and a partnership with Esri, SurvPC Esri merges the graphics and power of the Esri ArcGIS Engine with the surveying capabilities, unsurpassed library of drivers, and the CAD-like features of Carlson Software. GIS professionals and Surveyors are able to access and modify the same geodatabases with no import, export, or translation incompatibilities in the field and in the office. SurvPC Esri merges the worlds of Esri, CAD, and equipment drivers all in one easy to use program.
This manual illustrates how SurvPC Esri operates in conjunction with the power and graphics of the Esri ArcMap engine. As an addendum to the SurvPC user manual, examples are employed with emphasis on process and syntax. Datasets are expressly used to guide the reader through each concept as easily as possible. Illustrations may have been augmented for layout and formatting purposes.
