SurvPC Folder Locations

The SurvPC installer delivers content to the following locations:

User Data Files

C:\Users\[LoginProfile]\AppData\Roaming\Carlson Software\SurvPC 7 Settings

• Cells
• gdal_data
• Geoids - Carlson-supplied geoids are archived here.
• NADConv
• PredefinedTemplates - Carlson-supplied report templates are placed here.
• proj_data
• SurvPCScripts - Carlson-supplied Python scripts are placed here.
• Symbols - Symbols consisting of Folders for organizational purposes and:
  • DXF files with geometry typically placed on Layer 0 at an origin of 0,0 sized to one decimal CAD unit, and,
  • BMP files with image dimensions of 64x64 pixels.
• UserScripts - User-defined Python scripts are placed here.
• UserTemplates - User-defined HTML Report templates are placed here.

Note: It is not adviseable to make any changes to the content found within the "Program Files" folder locations unless under the explicit instructions from Carlson Technical Support.
