Sliding Area

The Sliding Area command will report the area of a closed polygon and allow you to set it to a new size by sliding the selected side parallel to its orientation.

Options

1. -Select polyline side to slide Graphically select the side of the polygon that will undergo a slide.
2. -Keep existing pline Yes/<No>? Indicate whether or not to keep the source polyline.
3. [Area reported] Indicate a desired size for the polygon and press Enter.

   Note: Area values other than the primary Job Units can be supplied as discussed in Input Box Controls.
