The Inverse command (and its Sketch variant when the Sketch option is enabled) presents the bearing and distance between points based on the Traverse, Inverse, Radial Stakeout Defaults command.
Options
-Tr/Ss/Rs/Pick point or point ID
- Tr: Switches into Traverse mode.
- Ss: Switches into SideShot mode.
- Rs: Switches into Radial Stakeout mode.
- Pick point or point ID: Indicate a coordinate based on an entity snap or by specifying an existing point ID (number) that is to be used in the inverse.
Note: Inversing has the added benefit that the previous inverse point becomes the backsight (BS) and the current inverse point becomes the occupied point (OP), allowing you to sequence directly into the Traverse or SideShot commands. The active BS/OP point information is echoed into the top status bar area of the Map Screen.
Note: During the inverse process, you can access other common controls; most notably the various Entity Snaps and Map Screen View Controls.
