The Radial Stakeout command (and its Sketch variant when the Sketch option is enabled) permits allows you to obtain the needed angle and distance information from an instrument setup to a point being staked. The backsight direction can be included per the Traverse, Inverse, Radial Stakeout Defaults command.
Options
Pick point or point ID (OP)
Indicate the Occupied Point (location of the instrument) based on an entity snap or by specifying an existing point ID (number).Pick point or point ID (BS)
Indicate the Backsight Point.-eXit/I/Tr/Ss/OpBs/Pick or type pt ID (STK):
Indicate the desired action:- eXit: Exits from the routine.
- I: Switches into Inverse mode.
- Tr: Switches into Traverse mode.
- Ss: Switches into SideShot mode.
- OpBs: Permits you to specify a new Occupied Point and/or Backsight Point (essentially prompts 1 and 2 above).
- Pick or type pt ID (STK): Indicate the coordinate of interest. The angle and distance to the point is reported to the screen.
