SideShot

The SideShot command (and its Sketch variant when the Sketch option is enabled) permits the sequencing of angle and distance information to establish multiple points from a single instrument setup with prompting based on the Traverse, Inverse, Radial Stakeout Defaults command.

Options

1. -eXit/I/Tr/Rs/H/Angle-BC(1-7)<[Angle Code]> Indicate the desired action:
   • eXit: Exits from the routine.
   • I: Switches into Inverse mode.
   • Tr: Switches into Traverse mode.
   • Rs: Switches into Radial Stakeout mode.
   • H: Displays a dialog box summary of the various angle codes.
   • Angle-BC(1-7): Indicate the numerical angle code that represents the turned angle.
2. The prompting sequence is the same as that of the Traverse command.

The results are the same as that of the Traverse command except the Occupied Point (OP) and Backsight (BS) points remain as-is.
