Change Layer

The Change Layer command allows you to place selected polylines onto a new layer.

Note: The results of the command will not change point layers.

-Selected polylines > [count]

Note: The selection method(s) are the same as those discussed in Erase.

Upon selecting one or more polylines, tap the Green Enter button to continue:

Select the layer(s) of interest whose polylines should be deleted.

• Layer: Indicate the layer upon which the selected polylines should be placed.
• Color: Indicates the color assignment for the selected polylines.

  In most cases, a special color of ByLayer (color 256) should be used. However, you can keep the polyline(s) on their layer(s) and just change the color.
