Offset by Segment

The Offset by Segment command creates a copy of an entity at a specified distance from the original and maintains the length of each segment or extends it to the intersection of an adjoining segment. Prompts consist of:

1. -Distance> [numerical value] Specify the desired offset amount.
2. Select polyline Graphically pick the polyline that is to be offset.

   Note: An alert box will appear allowing you options to Save Points at the segment endpoint locations and/or whether or not to Draw Segments.
