The Insert Vertex command allows you to insert a vertex location into a polyline segment at the midpoint or at the nearest picked point of the picked segment. Prompts consist of:
-eXit/applY/<Pick>Graphically select a polyline. A dialog prompt appears that requests if the insert location should be at the Midpoint of the segment or at the Nearest picked point. The location is marked.- eXit: Exits from the routine.
- applY: Inserts the vertex at the marked location.
- Pick: Specify an alternate location on the polyline where the inserted vertex is to occur.
Note: For a 3D Polyline, the elevation of the inserted vertex is linearly interpolated along the segment.
