Move Vertex

The Move Vertex (and its Sketch variant when the Sketch option is enabled) command allows you to reassign a vertex location on a polyline to an alternate location in the Map. Prompts consist of:

1. -Pick polyline Graphically select a polyline. The vertex location that is nearest to the picked location will display a marker.

   Note: If the marked location is not correct, tap the Esc button and retry the command.

2. -Target point or point ID Indicate the new location for the vertex using a common snap option or by specifying an existing Point ID (number).
3. <-Proceed> A displacement preview of the new displacement vector will appear. Press Enter to initiate the move or Esc to cancel the move.

Note: The elevation of the vertex will update to the elevation of the specified destination location.
