Remove Vertex

The Remove Vertex command allows you to remove a vertex location from a polyline that has three or more vertices. Prompts consist of:

1. -eXit/applY/<Pick> Graphically select a polyline. The vertex location that is nearest to the picked location will display a marker.
   • eXit: Exits from the routine.
   • applY: Removes the vertex at the marked location.
   • Pick: Specify an alternate location on the polyline where the vertex removal is to occur.

Note: In addition to interior vertex locations, the starting or ending vertex can also be removed.
