The Copy GIS Data command allows you clone and update GIS attributes associated with a source polyline into a destination polyline. Prompts include:
-eXit/Pick/<Select Src>
Indicate how the sourcepolyline will be specified:- eXit: Cancels the routine.
- Pick: Permits you to pick inside a closed polygon region to get/edit its GIS attributes.
- Select Src: Permits you to select a source polyline to get/edit its GIS attributes.
-eXit/Pick/<Select Dst>
Indicate how the destination polyline will be specified:- eXit: Cancels the routine.
- Pick: Permits you to pick inside a closed polygon region to get/edit its GIS attributes.
- Select Dst: Permits you to select a destination polyline to receive the GIS attributes.
Note: If any attributes for the GIS feature exist on the destination polyline, they will be overwritten.
- Upon selecting the destination polyline, the GIS attributes can be viewed and/or updated.
Note: Only polylines (open or closed) can be selected. For point-based GIS data, use the Point - Edit functionality.
Note: GIS attributes can be exported to Esri® using the commands such as Export SHP File or Export .dwg.
