Copy GIS Data

The Copy GIS Data command allows you to input or edit GIS attributes associated with a polyline (open or closed). Prompts include:

1. -eXit/Pick/<Select> Indicate how the polyline will be specified:
   • eXit: Cancels the routine.
   • Pick: Permits you to pick inside a closed polygon region to get/edit its GIS attributes.
   • Select: Permits you to select any polyline to get/edit its GIS attributes.
2. Upon selecting the polyline, GIS attributes can be viewed or updated.

Note: Refer to the Command Options discussion for additional information.

Note: Only polylines (open or closed) can be selected. For point-based GIS data, use the Point - Edit functionality.

Note: GIS attributes can be exported to Esri^® using the commands such as Export SHP File or Export .dwg.
