The Lot Stitch command stitches together lot boundaries which may have been measured with redundancies and/or small gaps, allowing for quick mapping of subdivisions.

- 🔗Point Range: Indicate the point numbers that should be used to determine the lot geometry.
- 🔗Point Wildcard Descriptions: Indicate if any specific type of point description(s) should be used to further filter the available points.
- 🔗Tol: Indicate the tolerance amount that determines the maximum separation distance between various corner points.
- 🔗3D: Indicate if the tolerance value should be interpreted as a 3D distance.
- 🔗>> & >: Use these buttons to move all available layers or the selected layer to the Used (right) side, respectively.
Note: Only Thawed (layers that are On) will appear in either list.
- 🔗< & <<: Use these buttons to move the selected layer or all available layers to the Polylines (left) side, respectively.
🔗Scenarios
Consider situations where parcel lines may not form closed polygon shapes (e.g. measuring and re-measuring corner locations, imprecise GIS linework, pin-cushion scenarios, etc) that might produce the following type of linework.
Note: In the example below:
- Back lines are represented in Magenta
- Side lines are represented in Blue
- Frontage lines are represented in Red
The goal is to produce closed polygon regions whose true corner positions can then be further studied:
Note: During the processing, longer polyline segments will be assigned more weight for the final lot shape.
