The Close Open-Sided Lots command allows you to add a polyline segment between the endpoints of two or more polylines even if there are gaps between endpoints. Prompts consist of:
-minGap/Selected plines> [count]
Indicate the desired action.- minGap: Indicate the maximum allowable gap between polyline endpoints that can be considered.
Note: A distance value of 0 requires that different polylines share common endpoints.
- Selected plines: Individually or crossing-select polylines that are to be joined.
Note: For precise segment creation in dense polyline areas, click near each endpoint of the polylines you wish to join.
- minGap: Indicate the maximum allowable gap between polyline endpoints that can be considered.
A new polyline segment is created between the polyline endpoints that are closer than the minimum gap distance. As desired, the Join command can be used to connect the various polylines.
Note: If one or more of the selected polylines is a 3D polyline, the newly drawn polyline will also be 3D.
