The Polyline Smooth Test command checks and reports if the deflection angle between any two polyline segments is greater than 0°. The purpose of the command is to detect alignments that have non-tangent curves or PI points without curves. Prompts consist of:
-Select polylineGraphically pick the polyline that is to be checked.
The results are summarized as being smooth or not smooth with a dialog box summary of station(s) with non-0° deflections.
Note: When creating alignment geometry, consider the use of the Draw - 2D (Road) command.
